Application for credit recognition
Undergraduate and Official Postgraduate Students:
Students admitted to the UCV may apply for recognition of credits from this or another University.
Recognition of credits means the acceptance by the University of the credits which, having been obtained in official teachings, at this or another University, are counted for the purpose of obtaining an official degree.
The application for recognition must be submitted in a single act on the occasion of the formalization of the student's first enrolment at this University. It shall include all prior official studies for which recognition is intended, regardless of the course to which they correspond.
Once the application has been formalized, it will be forwarded to an Academic Commission of Titles (ACT) for evaluation and subsequent resolution.

The application for recognition of credits, in general, will be submitted to the Secretariat of the Faculty where the student completes the chosen studies, along with the following documentation: § Application for recognition of credits.
- Original academic certificate.

If the required documentation cannot be submitted by that time, students will have until 30 October of the current year to provide it. Submissions received after this date will be rejected.
