International Student Support

At UCV we’ve partnered with Hostudents, a specialized agency that supports international students with the legal and academic procedures required to study in Spain. To request support or contract any of the services listed, email Hostudents at: info@hostudents.com

University Access Documentation

Description:

The necessary academic documentation required for admission to Spanish universities, which varies according to your previous academic qualifications.

Why you need it: To legally access university studies in Spain, you must submit either:

  • A UNEDasiss Credential (for EU systems or equivalent, like IB systems)
  • Or the Homologation of your high school diploma (for non-EU systems)

Hostudents will guide you through the process and ensure you have the correct documentation in place before you start.

Visa & Immigration Support

Description:

Personalised assistance with immigration processes, including student visas, NIE/TIE, and other formal legal documentation.

Why you need it: Spain requires all non-EU students to obtain a student visa before arrival. EU students must also obtain a NIE (EU registration certificate), especially if they will be completing internships during their stay.

Key Deadlines:
  • Non-EU students: Start the visa process at least 2 months before the start of classes.
    Example: For the 2025–2026 academic year (starting Sept 15, 2025), apply by July 15, 2025.
  • EU students: Complete NIE registration within 90 days of arrival in Spain.

Internships 

In addition to the compulsory internships, which form part of all our Degree´s and Master´s study programmes, students can sign up for additional internships, including internships abroad. We believe it is essential to enhance employability.
