Internationalisation at Home at UCV offers an international and intercultural experience without the need to travel abroad. Through virtual exchanges, international collaboration and global learning initiatives, students and staff develop key international and transversal skills.

These initiatives integrate an international dimension into teaching, learning and campus life, strengthening UCV’s global outlook and academic quality.

Every year, the UCV organizes the International Comenius Week, where students are able to meet students from other European countries, improve their competence in English -as it will be the common language for the whole week-, and start thinking about an Erasmus mobility, which will have a positive impact on the students' CV.
A certificate will be awarded to the participants.

Nursing

Nursing is organising its VIII International Week on ‘Soft Skills in Nursing’ from 2nd July to 4th July 2023.

Students and colleagues from other partnered universities are welcome to attend together with UCV Students. The International Week will combine academic and cultural activities to strengthen relations with our partner institutions. It will also be an opportunity to boost the linguistic and intercultural competences of students, who will share experiences with other International student and see the benefits of international nursing education and exchange.

Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Psychology: Healthy Ageing

We are delighted to announce a BIP (Blended Intensive Program) with the topic: Healthy Ageing, organised at the UCV Faculty of Psychology, on 23rd-27th October 2023, dedicated to health sciences students of partner universities.

Educating students regarding health ageing is crucial for their overall well-being and academic success, as well as society in terms of sustainable development goals (SDG). By teaching them how to care for their well-being, students can prioritize their mental and emotional well-being, which ultimately leads to a happier life.

UCV BIP Psychology October 2023

The buddy family program consists of accompanying international students in their academic, linguistic, social, and cultural integration at UCV and in Valencia. To this end, groups called “Families” are created, bringing together several UCV students and international students. UCV students act as “mentors” and help international students feel at home from the moment they arrive in Valencia, helping them to resolve any queries and get to know the city better.

In addition, activities will be organized on a regular basis so that each family can get together and enjoy them together!

Thanks to the buddy programme you will be in touch with some local students and also with other international students even before your arrival, so you will be able to ask any question about the city, transport, university procedures and other questions. Once you arrive you will be able to meet them and you will be integrated from the beginning.
