Why to study Dentistry al UCV

Our mission is to prepare the student to become a professional Dentist who is able to start working the day after he qualifies and therefore, we place a great deal of emphasis on the practicals. To this end, we introduce the practicals from the early years of the degree, students are supervised by an expert faculty member as they work with patients. They assume responsibilities, gain confidence and can see the result that their treatment has had on the patient, which is extremely rewarding.

From their 3rd year, students have the opportunity to collaborate, do extracurricular practice or an internship in university clinics, private clinics and hospitals.

Students benefit from lectures and seminars delivered by experts and leading dental professionals throughout the degree.

During their 3rd and 4th year, students present literature review and academic research projects at the UCV Dental Pathology and Therapeutics Congress. The projects will serve as a basis for the Final Degree Project.
