Conference Theme
The main theme of MMV13 is “Striking a balance between sustainable management and efficient visitor reception”.
The managers of protected natural areas are faced with a significant increase in the number of visitors to these sites, often reaching the point of overcrowding. In view of this, it is worth assessing where is the balance between sustainable environmental management of the territory and offering a quality service to visitors, citizens who demand to be able to enjoy a quality stay in nature.
Among the main topics to be addressed are:
- How the digitization of users is changing their behavior in nature.
- How to manage these substantial changes in the behavior of users of these recreational spaces.
- How to promote the visit of people with different disabilities, so that they can enjoy the environment on equal terms.
- How to make AI an ally of park managers to manage visitor flows.
