Local multiplier events at Babes Bolyai University (Romania)

Representatives from the Research and Development Institute for Grasslands in Brașov and from protected areas participated, summarizing the project results, followed by a discussion on the efficient management of meadows in the context of global climate change and the lack of workforce—persistent concerns for researchers.

The ideas discussed and the project were presented the next day (October 26) in Bran. The participants included representatives from the research institute, the Piatra Craiului National Park, especially farmers, representatives from the National Federation of Romanian Shepherds, representatives from local federations (Argeș, Prahova, Dâmbovița, Bacău, and Brașov), and tourism operators

On October 27, the project was discussed in Eșelnița, in a more intimate setting involving individuals actively involved in biodiversity conservation.

Participation in these events raised awareness of the difficulties faced by those who exploit or have the responsibility for conserving mountain meadows. It also established contacts for future partnerships, both for educational and scientific purposes.

They also promoted the results obtained to date by participating in the "Harvest Day" Fair, organized by Agrobob Ardeal Cooperative Agricola. The event took place in the village of Jucu Herghelie, Jucu commune, Cluj county.
