Dr. Peter Fredman

Dr. Peter Fredman is a professor in nature-based tourism at Mid-Sweden University and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. His main research interest includes outdoor recreation, visitor monitoring and planning, sustainable tourism, and management of natural resources. Peter has a PhD in forest environmental economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and has previously worked for the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish Mountain Safety Board. He is currently leading Mistra Sport & Outdoors, a Swedish national research and co-creation program on sports, outdoor recreation and the environment (www.mistrasportandoutdoors.se)
